I wouldn't say anything as that is a very very generous gift.. I wish I was getting new furniture! She could view it as ungrateful, and bring a toaster and skip the furniture and just give you small check on the day off.. At least she is coming.. Don't annoy FH as that is his mom and he will see her as being generous..

but unless she's leaving your shower EARLY to go see his ex... i dont see a problem.
if they are still close with her - what are you gonna do? is she a threat? i still talk to LOTS of my ex's.. almost all of them. we are friends... completely non romantic... no big deal. my parents ask about them.
but yeah, what barb said...
she's giving you furniture. thats pretty generous.
