So last week I went to Party Sensations (event planners and florist in Port Washington). Anyway, I gave them a check for $500 dollars as a deposit for centerpiece, draping, and lighting at the RH. Anyway, they were supposed to email me a formal proposal, pictures, and some other information. I never recieved the email, and I gave them over a week. That right there is a sign that I shouldnt do business with you and you are not on top of your stuff. I emailed them and they told me it was coming. Im not waiting forever for you to do simple stuff. Plus, I found the same stuff at Flowers by Michele for cheaper.
So I stopped payment on the deposit. Is this wrong?

I wouldn't want to use them after all of that either but I would at least notify them that you're no longer interested in their services and you stopped payment.

I agree, if you are not satisfied with them now than think of the stress you will have wondering if they are going to get stuff done on time and to your liking for your wedding!!!!

I met with them both as well, and Flower Michelle can do pretty much whatever you want....the only reason I ended up booking with Pedestals was b/c they negotiated with me for cash

i would stop the payment. if u put 500$ down and have to wait a week for an email id go elsewhere.
i mean if i buy something online i can get a conformation right away why cant this place do that for you, you know?
