I've spent the last hour scouring the web for a quote to use on my unity candle. I had picked a couple lines of a country song but it was kinda too long and looks a little weird.
Tell me I'm being stupid because I don't want to use a generic love quote and I'm wasting my time looking for something 'super meaningful' to FH and I.

I don't think thats stupid - but probe will be hard to find one so i would go with something generic.

Most people won't even see the unity candle.
ETA: Heather, you know I'm only joking right? (Just in case others don't realize I am). If you want to put a quote, put a quote. But it is true that I don't think you should go crazy over it, because in all honesty, most people won't see it.

I don't think you're being stupid! I would probably do the same thing. God knows I've been looking for a quote to engrave on my votive candles for oh about 8 mos. now. FH didn't like the 'Love is friendship set on fire.' quote even though I LOVE it!
I think we're going to go with 'Love lights up the world.'
