I'm guessing 'Through the Years' b/c it's just about all Kenny Rogers did in terms of music that was actually LISTENTED to by people LOL he basically put out that song and opened a chain of chicken restaurants LOL

But I have to say-- it's a pretty song and makes me cry!

ooh they had a cripsy chicken wrap on a pita that was REAL good!!!! my ex boyfriend used to LOVE their chicken-- when the one in commack closed he almost cried-- him and his friends wanted to stage a drive-by chickening and shower the bank that opened in it's place with chickens!! LOL LOL!!!

anywho-- it's funny b/c kenny rogers does not sing-- he just speaks the whole time LOL

OMG! my friend jaime got married last november...and her and her man are the biggest Bon Jovi fans! they also had that as their first dance. it was so awesome! i even made a video fo it and posted it on youtube!!!

bon jovi fuking rocks! just saw them last summer at the Meadowlands....3 straight hours of awesome music....best concert!

Wow- her husband is a Bon Jovi fan? Male BJ fans are SO RARE! When I first spoke to FH I thought something had to be wrong with him if he liked Bon Jovi!

I always love these threads...I'm so excited about my musical 'theme' - Bon Jovi is one of the reasons we met in the first place, so that explains it....

Parents entrance: '2001 Space Odyssey' (Elvis' entrance music- FH's idea since he and his dad are HUGE Elvis fans)
BP entrance: 'Ready 4 This' by 2 Unlimited (the same song the Yankees take the field to- another part of our theme)
Now the REAL musical theme takes over....

Our entrance: Intro (drums) of 'Lay Your Hands on Me' (FH's idea) into 'Livin' on a Prayer'

First dance: 'Thank You For Loving Me'
Garter: 'Lay Your Hands on Me' probably my fave choice cuz it makes me giggle!
Bouquet Toss: 'Raise Your Hands'
Cake Cutting: 'Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen from Mars' (totally obscure song about a crazy couple)
Spotlight dance: 'You Had Me From Hello'
Final dance: 'Never Say Goodbye' (I think)
Last song played: 'New York New York' just like at Yankees games!

I hope our guests won't be losing their minds at all the Bon Jovi songs! Granted, they're all short moments of the night anyway.

2nd dance (we invited everyone up to dance): Come Rain or Come Shine by Don Henley - it was amazing - we looked around and EVERYONE was up dancing all around us

Thanks!! So you know Captain Crash? That's the song I think most people are gonna go
I think it's hilarious though- especially as they sing about all the famous couples at the end! And how perfect, they sing about Joltin' Joe DiMaggio (and Marilyn of course), who will have a table named after him!
