I'm obsessed with 'Say Yes to the Dress', and I'd love to hear your stories about the place. Did you work with any of the consultants on the show? What's the atmosphere like? It looks so big and busy!
ETA: I bought my dress already, but I am just really curious about it, and hopefully this will benefit other brides!

There's a lot going on and it can be overwhelming. I think if you go with an idea of what you want it will be a better experience. I went on a Thursday. had the first appt of the day and waited with about 10 other brides, can't imagine the weekend experience! They started ontime and called out ppl one at a time, you get 1.5 hour for the 1st appt. I had an idea of what I wanted and I showed the pic from the mag to my consultant (she's not on the show, my sis had Keesha a few years ago), she grabbed it and a few others. When I tried on the one I wanted (the 1st dress I tried on anywhere) that was it, I was sold and didn't want to see anything else. She let me 'play' a little though. They brought me to the main room in my dress, people came and made all the raving comments you see on the show, there were like 4 other brides standing on pedestals. I met Randy, he's hilarious! They put on the veils and that was it! Before I knew it the alterations lady was measuring me and I was signing papers, but never did I feel pressured. The price was less than what I had seen on the internet! I had a great experience, they have such a selection, are great at what they do, and are so knowledgable which can not be met at other smaller salons, at least the selection part IMO. But you will also lose some of the more personable experiences you may get at smaller places. Good luck!

I had Keesha as my consultant. She is the sweestest person ever. She actually grabbed a few dresses and I ended up with the 2nd one I tried on there. i did no buy that day though. I came back later on for a 2nd appt... with Keesha of course. I purchased that dress that time. I had a GREAT experience there. They are always soooo friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them to anyone.

I loved it!!!! It was an amazing experience. I actually had one of the bridal consultants from the show her name is Audrey. I loved her, she was so sweet. I went on a Saturday and it wasn't to crazy. I felt really comfortable. My bridal consultant and all the staff there were so so sweet and very attentive and not pushy at all. The place itself is huge, dresses every where. The rooms are great very spacious at least the one I was in. I went with my mom, two sisters and a cousin. The appointment was for 1.5 hr and I tried on so many dresses. I brought pictures of what I liked and she got every single one of them plus some she thought I would love. Overall I loved it and I am happy I purchased my dress at Kleinfeld.

It was the first place I went to! I requested Keasha and went on a weekend. She was amazing! So nice! I brought a bunch of dresses i liked from mags and she brought a bunch for me to try but totally wasnt loving it. And then she started bringing out dresses she selected and I tried on a lazaro an knew it was the one! I wanted to come back with my Dad and she totally did not care. We came back the next weekend and made the purchase!!!!

My experience was just ok. I was there this past Saturday, and because of some 'computer glitch' they didn't see me until almost 40 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I had Keasha as well. She was super sweet and professional, but was still finishing up her other appointment while seeing me, so it was tough. At one point, I was in the stock room trying to pick out dresses myself!
I'd definitely recommend going to Kleinfeld's but suggest asking for a time when they are not filming. The bright lights are soooo hot and it was annoying with all the camera crews running around.

I had THE BEST experience there! Better then any other place I went to. I didn't get my dress there b/c my mother really hated the dress I was in love with. I adore Randy... I would have put him in my pocket and taken him home if I could have! Maria was sooooo amazing! She got married at the same place I did. Pnina was nice but not too nice. lol.. and I was in her dress. She thought my MOH was taking pics when she wasn't.. she was texting but yes... we did take pics lol! The didn't rush me at all! And they really wanted me to pick a dress I would love. I did love the Pnina dress but my mom really hated it. They did try to help me find another dress but it was getting late and I didn't want to hold them up. I was there for 4 hours (not normal). I wish I would have had the same experience from the place I bought my dress from. Don't get me wrong... they were good... but not as good as Kleinfeld. I felt like a Bride there.

I had a great experience there! I actually went on sample sale dale so the appointment was only going to be an hour. It also happened to be an Anne Barge trunk show. I really didnt think I was gonna get my dress there that day...I just wanted to have that 'Kleinfeld experience.' My consultant was Lisa (I haven't seen heron the show yet!) and she was great. She picked out a couple of sample gowns and two Anne Barge gowns. I initially thought they just looked ok on the hanger but on me I was sold on thte 2nd one I tried!!! It somehow had all the details I liked in different gowns combined into 1! I got to meet the designer too and she was such a doll! Eventhough my appointment was running a little over the scheduled time, Lisa still let me try on a couple more and then I went back to 'the one' and realized this was it!! I really had a great experience there and would recommend that you go there. You never know you might find the one!!!

I worked with Jessica (the newbie on the show) and she was amazing--I was so sad they made her look bad on the show! She showed me dresses only within my budget and when I wanted to see something that was higher, she warned me and we both decided it wasn't a good idea to try on!
I loved her so much that I want to set her up with my FH's younger brother!
I wanted to sleep on my dress decision and she was totally fine with that--did not push the sale at all...I am so glad I found my dress so easily there (it was the first thing I tried one)!

I loved Kleinfelds... I stayed clear of weekends and had a great experience all the way through. My alterations were tough b/c I wanted to change alot and everything came out perfect!
