For our engagement party we got a tiger striped fruit bowl and curtain set! It had to be a re-gift from like 1980!!! What makes it worse is our kitchen is sunflowers w/ a green marble floor and accents and they know this.

I had to look up the website to even figure out what the dish was for. It's a serving dish that holds a flower in the center. I'm a weird girl who doesn't like flowers. And I already donated it to charity

Did they atleast give you shakers with it? If not that is just too weird!! My mom gave me salt rocks, but it was to refill the salt grinder she got us that matched the kitchen.

well when we moved into our new home his grandmother gave us, sugar (for a sweet life) bread (so we never go hungry) and salt ( to keep away the negative energy) and some cokkies just beacasue :(

For our engagement we received a Gone with the Wind music box. It was of Rhett Butler and Scarlett right after he 2nd husband dies. SHe's dressed all in black. This girl must LOVE us, right?

I got this as part of a wedding gift from my aunt. If you can figure out what it is let me know..we're still trying to figure it out..candy dish, ash tray, junk collector, salad bowl???
A lenox bleeding heart bud vase. It was so not our taste. We exchanged it for a clear glass picher that has a hole through it.
We also got a menorah that looks like two people with their fingers on fire. It is really creepy looking.

at my shower one lady (FMILs FRIEND) got me a rooster clock and a hair dryer...
I dont even dry my hair...EVER..
My comments were WOW- Its a great hair dryer- it even has a defuser for my curls! : ) I was slick!

OMG I AM SOOOO SORRY. BUT I CANNOT STOP LAUGHING WHEN I LOOK AT THAT....
my e-party was on saturday. the worst gift i got was from mother nature. it was supposed to be an outdoor bbq!! at least most of the people still showed up!
