Telling vendors that you post on LIW

Do you think that telling vendors that you post reviews (or will post) about them on this board will positively affect their service towards you?

I told Jericho Terrace and my photographer that I will post reviews on them..hoping that they will give me better service.

I'm telling every one of my vendors...they should know..put a little buzz in the step you know

Me too. Told them all. So they know everyone will know about it if I am unhappy with something. So far everyone has been great and easy to get in touch with after booking them.

Sure. I also tell them when I hear good things about them on LIW too.

Some i do ...some i don't...It depends how i found out about them..
Usually they ask 'how did you find out about us'?
And i will tell them LIW if that is true...
If it isn't (ex. Fox Hollow, photographer) no i don't

I mentioned to Duet that I had originally decided to talk with them because off all the good things I heard on here... and that I do visit the board...

Don't know if that will effect service at all though...

I never said that I would post a review about them. But, I know that my vendors know that I'm always posting on here. I got lucky and all of my LI vendors were fantastic.

But honestly, I don't think that LIW posts will motivate a vendor all THAT much. They know that if any of us were to say anything negative, LIW will delete the posts.

Well its funny b/c most ask 'so how did you hear about us'--some Ill say well you're all over the chat boards and everyone seems to love you--they like to hear stuff like that

So far, I had one negative experience that I couldv very well posted on here but never did--only b/c I had this feeling they would look and come on--and defend themselves as a bride--and then I'd really be pissed off! All I know is this guy was such a jacka&&!
