I am visiting temple israel in lawrence (morrell caterers) next wk. theyre quote is way higher than the other synagogues i have seen so far (sephardic temple, beth el etc). Is it really that much nicer and worth it? has anyone been to weddings at any of these venues?
My cousin got married at Temple Israel a bunch of years ago. It's gorgeous and the wedding was fantastic... but I'd say that about weddings I've been to at less expensive places too. Whether it's 'worth it' to you depends on what you're looking for. I haven't seen the temples you listed, but I've seen some others. I had no doubt that any of them would throw a fantastic party with tons of good food and pay attention to all the little details. What's your budget like? You can find amazing places to fit any price range!
