Re: Tempur-pedic beds
UGh...I am not a fan. I didn't think we could afford it, but DH insisted on getting it because I have major back problems and he thought it would be good for me.
For the first few weeks I was achy every night. Now I am mostly not, but sometimes I still have pain , like if I sleep on my side, I'll get hip pain...isn't that exactly what's NOT supposed to happen?
It's REALLY hot. I'm always hot. Ugh. I like to be kind of cold when I sleep and bundle up. I'm generally NOT a sweater at all, and every night I wake up sweaty, like I'm wet, my clothes are damp. ugh
They also had me buy a higher support frame thing because of our bed frame and it's so high I can't get into it.
One good thing is that it doesn't really transfer motion, so I don't generally feel DH getting in and out of bed,..but ugh

funny that you posted this. we just got ours a few weeks ago and the for the first 2 weeks, my back was aching from it. I found it to be more comfortable on my side. And yes, it is a hot bed which sucks b/c of this stupid heatwave that we're having but thank goodness for the AC and the fan. I'm slowly getting used to it but i'm just quite disappointed that it wasn't as comfy as i thought it would be - and it's a lot of money - w tf. my brother also told me that he was uncomfortable in his for a month and now it's fine. i'm hoping it just needs to be broken into.
