tent rentals and portable toilets

Hi...I am planning on having my E-party in June or July and wanted to rent a tent (for about 50) in case it rains but can't seem to find many places to rent from. We also need a port-a-potty so the cess pool doesn't go nuts... we are having at my moms house in Farmingville... any suggestions!??
Thanks Jen

Re: tent rentals and portable toilets

we rented our tent, table and chairs from NY Tent they were great!! and called so many places and researched pricing and set up fees -- they were the best pricing and selection around! And they also honor a coupon they put in the Clipper Coupon magazine that come to your house. So mention that when you call. I never gave them a coupon when they came to the house I just mentioned it on the phone when I called.

They set it up a few days ahead and took it down a day or two after. I think they set up tents Wednesday through Friday for weekend parties and pick up Like Monday to Tuesday.

Here's the link to them:

We did have a portable toilet too -- I have to find out from my mom who we used she handled that detail. But it was good to have. She was worried with have 100 people the cesspool would overflow. Don't ask!! It ended up all the men used the portable bathroom and all the women used the bathrooms in the house.

Re: tent rentals and portable toilets

I don't have any idea how much they are, but they have these trailers now with bathrooms inside, a FULL bathroom with sinks and everything, they have mens and womens and 2-3 stalls in each room. They are pretty nice! If it were me I would try to find one of these and pray!!!!!!!!! it fit into my budget!

Re: tent rentals and portable toilets

I've seen those.. I am sure they are super expensive...but we were thinking of only having the men use the portables... men don't really care about how fancy they are...they can manage!
Thanks!!!

Re: tent rentals and portable toilets

We rented tables, tent, and chairs from DeAngelis in Bohemia/Sayille for our engagement party. They were wonderful and really helped us out. They are located on Sunrise Highway across from Old Navy, Babies R Us, Panera Bread, all those stores. We hope that we helped you out.

Re: tent rentals and portable toilets

the toilet we had -- had a sink in it and it was flushable too!! it was about $200 I think. my parents figured it was worth it too not worry about the cesspool I will FM you the info about that when I speak to my mom about who we got it from.

with the tents we got a 20 X 40 canopy (it doesn't have sidewalls) and 8 round tables, 80 chairs, and 1 long banquet table......it was just the right amount. if you check out the pictures in my e-party album you can see the set up we had
