FH is freaking out about money for the wedding, with rennovating the house, he doesn't know if we can afford the wedding, so tomorrow night we are going to have a talk about it

Oh I gotcha. Fh is the same way. Everyday he freaks out about not having enough $ for the wedding. But yet its ok to go out to dinner and go out with friends all the time Ugh or just spends $ on whatever. Its so frustrating

I want to do that, but we need all the house stuff done now, so that we can move in soon, and FH is sooo impatient so he won't wait for that stuff to get done-its just very annoying

Right now he's freaking out, because we are completely redoing the kitchen so brand new everything in the kitchen and then he had to put up new sheet rock all over the downstairs. Then we had to upgrade the electric. So he is completely freaking, he didn't think it was going to be this much, he didn't want to listen to me

obviously kitchen & electric are two big expenses. maybe you should hold off on doing other upgrades for a little while. just do the most important right now.

FH is handy too!!! Shawn used to do plumbing work and he is good with electric and all that other junk like that! He cant lift much right now but he is handy!!

teri - also as we look at houses we are obviously looking at what needs to be done asap. the house we are seriously considering needs a new kitchen but as my mother put it we don't need to put in a $30,000 kitchen, we can just go to ikea and get something really nice for the time being.

My mother suggested the same thing to me when I bought my house. It took me a good year to a year and a half to finish furnishing it and a lot of furniture and stuff are hand me downs. Gotta save up money and conserve somehow

As of now, the house is not liveable, we have knocked down walls and we are moving the kitchen, so there is no kitchen at all, we ripped out the old one and there is no bedroom because that is where the old kitchen was
