Hi everyone-

If you shop at Shoprite or Shop and Stop, you really owe it to yourself to check out Teri's list. Both of these stores double coupons, and it's a way save TONS of money on your groceries. She compares present sales to older sales, works with the sale cycle, etc., but you can save 50-60% easily. You have to buy the paper and clip coupons, but then you just print out this list and take it to the store with your coupons, buy the things on the list and check out. I've been doing this for a while and it really works - Kelloggs cereal for $1 a box, Name brand deoderant for 50 cents, toothpaste for free! My grocery bills are typically 60-70% off retail.

OK I tried it today:

my receipt:
total $109.72
after club discounts: $93.90
after coupons: $76.06

this is only my first week so they do say that it takes up to 12 weeks to get stockpiled...and I bought $20+ in cold cuts (DH loves his sandwiches...lol)

I'm pretty psyched...

ETA: I also have $6.50 rebate to send in...they said if its over $3 the rebate is worth it

Jenn you would have saved more if you made another trip (just go back on line ) and get another one, and pay 50cents for each.

I do this sometimes at waldbaums if I have two coupons and I go out and come back to Bed and bath if I have two five dollar off coupons!

Anna and sometimes if I have lets say two 50 cent off fantastik coupons, Ill pay for ONE fantastik w/ a coupon and then the rest of my order as a separate order so I get both doubled

ever do that one?? LOL
I tell them , ring this one thing up separate its for my mom! and if I have two or three coupons like that Ill pay for those three to four items separate

once in a while I do that, the coupons expire so far out that I just do it on my next trip. Unless its a major deal that week

For cleaning products, I mostly use the $1 doubled coupons, I dont need to use the 50cent because I have so much stock that if its not $1, I wont even bother (I have high standards )

Tammy do you do it at Waldbaums or Bed&Bath ? im confused I thought you meant BB&BEyond.

if I have THREE $5 off coupons
I go in and out to different cashiers, they take a whole slew of 20 off ones but one five dollar per order

At Bed Bath & Beyond they will take a stack of coupons. DH & I went there last week and used 7 of them at one time.

I didnt know BBB took more than one coupon at a time !!!!

Did anyone ever find out if Fortunoff honors BBB coupons?

FYI - Stop and Shop doubles up to and including $1-not .99! Even better! AND if you have the king kullen 5 or 10 dollar off coupons-S & S takes them too!

Tammyjill, yes they usually take more then 1 $5 coupon and the best thing is they take there own expired coupons doesn't even matter if it is a year old!!! Competitor coupons though can't be expired!

OK about Teri's.... I live upstate and I don't think they have it here. I wish they let you look it up instead of keep putting in zip codes. We have a few major cities near here and like Binghamton has like 10 zipcodes!!!! I tried 5 then gave up!!! I use to do this on my own, but with the kids now not easy to find time to sit and fiqure it all out. Plus I don't think we have any double coupon stores Miss that too!!!
