Terrace on the Park

Just read the messages about Terrace on the Park-from those of you who were not impressed. Did this include the Penthouse room that is connected to the open roof and terrace? I am getting married there this July and have not seen it since we booked it. At the time-it did not look run down at all. So I really need to know if you are referring to my room or the other rooms.

Terrace on the Park

I've looked at that place and I thought of it to be nice. I don't recall what room it was that he showed me but I remember the room on the ground floor where the cocktail hour was going to be held and I thought the two connecting rooms were awesome and big. The two rooms he showed me had beautiful views of queens and the manhattan skyline. I didn't book that place because I didnt' want there to be more than 1 affair happening at once but would settle for 2 affairs and they just had too many rooms for many affairs. But if I didn't mind that we might be having our wedding there.

Terrace on the Park

I saw the Penthouse room end of last year and it looked really nice. Make sure your vendors are familiar with it though. I ran into my DJ at an event there and he said they call it 'Terror' on the Park because it takes them an hour to get up the freight elevators with their stuff. That shouldn't affect your experience - unless it makes your vendors late. So make sure they're prepared. Good luck. I'm in July too and can't believe it's around the corner now!
