I visited there because it looked so nice in the magazines. When I got there I was very disappointed. It was very pink and needed to be completly renovated. JMO

I have been to company functions & wine tastings here, I think the food isn't good.

I was told they recently renovated the place. They spent 15 Million on the rooms. How long ago did you see them?

I visited there around Febuary of last year. Just about a year ago. I did not hear anything about renovations.

I went there to look and the did renovate. I didn't like the fact that the cocktail hour was held in the same room as the wedding reception (it was seperated by a curtain) My FI and I also thought 'this is alot of money for a little food' They really wern't offering to much as far as the cocktail hour goes (compare to all the other place we went to)

I was at Terrace On The Park Recently. What a zoo. There were numerous affairs going on at one time. If they spent 15 mil on renovations it must be in the kitchen cause the rooms were dated and the bathrooms were let's just say in need of work. Food was OK though. Plus I think it's a little scary way up there and being next to the airport. Just my opinion.

Re: Terrace on The Park

i've been to a few events here and i visited the place b/c it is in queens and thats where i live....first of all, and no offense to anyone who has had their wedding there, it is the ugliest thing i have ever seen from the outside....i mean, nasty! but they did renovate the inside...the ****tail room i looked at was downstairs and very nice....the reception room was upstairs (i think 3 floors up) and was also very nice, had its own restrooms so guests never mixed with those from other weddings...but nothing spectacular....the food is good, not great...but it does get chaotic b/w ****tail and reception when guests from all the events are moving around...and the whole thing just left a bad taste in my mouth for some reason....also, they were asking for $150 pp for a saturday night in october (before tax and service charge)....personally, for that kind of $$$ i would go to the city...hope this helps..

I went there to look for my wedding, however, the biggest downer about that place is that the guy had told me that they can have as many as 4 events going on!!!! Right after he said that, I was like NO WAY. Other than that, I've never heard of any complaints about the place.
