Terrace on the Park Hotels??

For you ladies who had/are having your wedding at TOTP, where did you book hotel rooms? I have a wedding there in November and I want to stay overnight in a nearby hotel. The bride did not reserve a block of rooms. Any suggestions?

I know it's not quite around the corner (it is only about 10 mins away though) is the Anchor Motor Inn in Bayside. Pretty nice place, rooms have always been clean, staff is very nice.

A lot of the other hotels in the general area S$CK and they're WAAAAY overpriced. The AMI is nominal (~$125 / night ?) and definitely worth it.

Don't ask me how I know but I'll say this much: when I get married a lot of hoteliers are gonna be a little more broke...

There's a bunch right by LaGuardia off the Grand Central. There's a marriott and lots more.

You have the Mariott & Wyndham both by LGA airport. There is also a Comfort in the area of TOTP.

I replied on 08 but on the same block at TOTP there are a strip of hotels.
