FH and I went to lunch today and I told him the things I would like to kill his mother for teaching him...
Here they are:
(1) To just 'sleep it off' when he feels sick, not to take medicine. (Now I get to listen to him moan about how he is dying while he refuses to do anything about it)
(2) To fold his socks rather than roll them into a ball (OK, this one does show my anal retentive side, but it really also makes the drawer a mess!!!)
AND THE WORST!!!
(3) To blow his nose in the shower to remove all pollen, allergy inducing microbes, etc. (SOOOOOOO GROSS....and the sound that accompanies this....truly disgusting!!!)
Come on girls, I know everyone has some of these....!!!!

Nothing, He was brought up very well and his mother rubbed off only good things onto him. I am very lucky. If anything I am the slob. My mom cleaned up everything for me, therefore making me the slob that I am. Poor FH!!

FH also will not wear ANYTHING before he has washed it...
He freaks out if I try a hat on in a store and tells me I am going to get lice....
My husband does this too- and one time asked me to return a pair of boxers he had not worn, but had washed. All he told me was he hadn't worn them. Of course they didn't take them back and I was humiliated.

My darling FH HACKS in the bathroom sink -- doesn't matter that he turns the water on to 'wash it down'. It's dang nasty!!! He's like, 'where am I supposed to do it'. Ummmm, how about in a tissue, then flush it???

my fh won't put his face anywhere near the hotel room blankets. LOL i guess it's not THAT bad, but I can just hear FMIL talking every time he says, 'don't let it touch your face . . .'
your FH's paranoia is quite well founded. i know for a FACT that hotels and motels do not wash their blankets/comforters very often.

You are lucky that it is just nose blowing. Mine hocks loogies. GROSS! And they wonder why we dont shower with them.
