TESSA - bad experience

Just give her time...esp if your wedding is a while down the road. My wedding is in August and she is just about to do my final edit and then start printing them.
I know, they are going to be a little later than planned....but I am sure they are going to be worth the wait. I love what she has designed for me...once I rec them and mail them out, a few days won't matter.
just give her time as long as you can be a patient person!

Tessa had told me in January that she PROMISED she would have my invitations to me by the last week in May. When I signed my contract with her, she put down production time between May 10 and May 20. With all of the stuff that has been going on with her, she was still able to keep her promise. They will probably get finished by friday or saturday...and be sent to me on Tuesday.

She has ALWAYS given me personal attention. If you don't hear from her in two days, definitely send her another email. Yes, she is super busy, but she will not ignore your email for a week. The longest I have ever waited for a response was 2 days...and that was b/c my question required a lengthy/complicated answer.

I agree that it would be great to sit down with your invitation vendor and it might even take less time to produce 'your vision', but she's in Washington and we are here...so there is no getting around that. Please be patient. She is a very talented person, who is well worth the wait.

I wouldn't necessary say it's a bad experience. Were you able to receive a login and password for her blog so that you can see where you are on the list? This has helped me a lot because I will not expect anything from her until I reach number 1.

After all, we do have a lot of time and she does need to take care of her spring/summer 2009 brides. In the meantime, look at other places as already suggested.
