Tessa Girls...Sample Proof/Postage Question

I was wondering if any of you took your sample proofs to the post office to get them weighed for a postage estimate?

I mean...they're exactly what you will be receiving, minus the response envelope, which doesn't add too much, so theoretically you *could* weigh your proof, right?

Clearly I just want to find out if I can use the King and Queen of Hearts stamps LOL.

I did. I took a small envelope just to be on the safe side and took my proof to the post office and bought the postage and everything right on the spot. I went to the main post office in the city to ensure I had the right price.

Awesome...not sure how many I'm going to have yet so probably won't buy, but at least that will give me a good frame of reference!

I weighed mine, it was kinda off, maybe because I changed the thickness of the paper after seeing the invite, it was crazy expensive for postage though, so weigh it to get an idea! good lick Ali

Good idea Ali, I didnt even think of that lol But did you also add an outer envelope too? I have a response envelope, but I dont have the outer one.

My postage was very expensive as well... I also had to buy the ugliest stamps because they are being sent out very late.

I only have one main envelope, I'm not going to do an inner and outer. But when I got the proof, I only got the main envelope, not the response envelope that will be used as well, so I'm probably going to put in a small envelope I got from a shower invite to use as a gauge.

Thats so funny you got the outer and no response. I got the response and no outer lol Maybe she only wanted to give one of each? Yea, Im not going an inner one either- I didnt feel like it was worth it to spend extra on that.

I took my whole sample to the p.o and had it weighed as well. I needed to know the exact postage so I could get my zazzle stamps! Definitely weigh your sample, and add some extra weight to account for the missing envelope.

I had my outer but I did not have a response card LOL I didnt do an inner envelope.

Mine were pocketfold with no extra weighted paper, no rhinestones or ribbon. I had Swarovski crystals and they were $1.05.
