Sometimes people on here know things before my real life friends do. For example, I spoke to a friend on Saturday who didn't know I had gotten an internship 2 weeks ago, but everyone on LIW knows it!

As far as more personal things, I tend to keep them to my close friends and don't really post them. People on LIW may know more incidental details about me and my marriage, but only my best friends know the more intimate stuff.

I think they definitely know more about the little goings on in my life than many of my other friends do! But when it comes down to knowing my personality, what I am really like, my friends I have known a while in person would win.

ETA: Sometimes when talking to DH I will just assume I told him something, and he will never have heard about it, and I'll just say, 'Oh, I guess I posted about it then...'

I think so. Because of my crazy schedule, it's hard to keep in touch on a daily basis with alot of my friends. I think so many of my friendships have been long lasting because the contact is sporatic, it keeps things interesting and the things we find 'annoying' about each other doesn't bother us as much. My best friend (since sixth grade) I talk to about once every month. She lives in Ohio but honestly with the way we have grown into different people, if we were to see/speak every day, it would make me nuts.

The group I feel closest to on here, I can appreciate because there is some mystery about who they are, etc. I hope that makes sense.

as to my wedding and mu true feelings yes liweddings knew more! as for personal it depends on what it is!

Sometimes. It's easier to be in touch with friends on LIW than it is my 'real life' friends because I'm so far away.

I cannot wait to meet a few of the girls on here though, I do feel like they're good friends even though we've never met.

there is alot of stuff you don't know, that only my close circle of LIW folks know

and we're keeping it that way
