***TGIF QOTD***

Hey Girls!
Congrats to all the girls getting married this weekend!!!

Ok we all know how much stress planning a wedding can be!! Im sure that everyone has had ups and downs, a breakdown! maybe even a 'Bridezilla Moment'

My Question:
what was your first bridezilla moment?? A time in your wedding planning that made your FH want to call up the WE network and get you on the show!

My Answer:
Me, FH, my parents and FMIL were at my parents house sticking our personalized lables on our champagne bottles for our favors...well mine were not coming our right at all! they were bunched and crooked, and i hated the way the looked!! my FH and my father both made comments like why dont you just go watch tv! so i threw the bottle down and ran upstairs to what use to be my bedroom and refused to finish helping! eventually i got bored and wanted to go back downstairs and when i did FH said 'welcome back bridezilla'

This is a great question!!!!

I havent had anything really bridzilla-y.

BUT.......

He is driving me crazy about NOT doing things he is supposed to be doing. Its 3 weeks already adn he STILL hasnt talked to the Videographers I have pre-interviewd!!!

I will go bridezilla on him if he keeps putting it off!!!

See, *I* don't think that I've really been Bridezilla-y about anything. FH thinks otherwise, because it goes against every fiber of his being to do anything in a timely fashion...so by me wanting to book things, get things done, etc. is so over the top and bridezilla to him. Sigh. I've had a few shiz-fit breakdowns because he doesn't absolutely nothing to help me and fights me tooth and nail on every piece of excruciating minutiae, so there's plenty of tears that have been shed, but nothing bridezilla, just sheer frustration in general.

Hmmmm... he really hasnt said I have had any bridezilla moments yet...but when my MOH said she wanted to get another tattoo on her foot in August I told her if she could wait because I wanted to make sure that she would be ok for the wedding. he said that was bridezilla. Thats about it

I pitched a fit when my bridal salon let me try on and put a deposit on a dress that was being discontinued, promised they could get it for me, and then called me to tell me they couldn't - but if I wanted to come in and try on more dresses that would be fine.

I was at work at the time, and I started screaming at them from my desk that they 'stole my money' and that they were running a 'buIIshit' operation and I was going to report them to the BBB. I used lots of words that would get starred out here on LIW.

Miraculously, two days later they told me they COULD get my dress. It came in with no problems and it was exactly as I wanted it.

I think the only Bridezilla moment I've had so far was when FMIL bought her dress BEFORE I even picked my colors for the BP. I'm still not over it.

I'm sure there will be many more to come as we get closer................

The only bridzillaish moment I have had is regarding OOT guests. First...I lost the battle with FH regarding his Mom and Grandma staying with us in our house the weekend of the wedding. I know some of you may be like what's the big deal but honestly it is going to be a hectic weekend and we only have one bathroom and I really didn't need anyone staying in our house because it would just add more stress to a situation that I am trying to keep unstressful. But how do I tell my FH that his mom and grandma can't stay with us so I just ****** it up and now we have house guests the weekend of our wedding. The other OOT problem is people coming for the wedding and expecting to stay at my Father's house. Now...there is no room for anyone to stay there. My old bedroom is now a workout room, the basement is a sewing workshop, my sister's old room is an office and the apartment that was built for my grandpa is where my sister lives. So there is NO room. I am staying at my dad's the night before the wedding and am bunking with my sister in her bed. So I have people from NC and Texas that expected to be able to stay at my dad's. Now when we sent out the STD I asked the OOT people if they were going to come I would book a room block but NO ONE would give me an answer so I said F**k it I am not going to do anything and they can find their own hotels. Now that these people have decided to come to the wedding they keep pestering my dad and he is too nice to say no but my sister gets on the phone and blatenly tells them no, there is no room. So I finally spoke to these people and was like I asked you if you wanted me to block rooms a no one gave me an answer so now you are on your own. I am greatly appreciative that you want to come to the wedding but you need to rent a car and a hotel room for the weekend because we don't have time to chauffer people around town and to and from the airport. I offered to send them a list of hotels in the area so they could pick the one with the best price. Oh and that was another thing....they expected to pay no more than $75 a night for a hotel room...UMMM HELLLO!!!! We live in NY...a hotel room is going to be at least $120 per night. If you would have given me an answer when I asked about the room block then you could have gotten it for $100 per night but you didn't so now you need to shut up about the price of the room because honestly $120 per night in NY is cheap!! UUGGHH...and these people are originally from NY so I don't know why they were so suprised about the price. Ok vent/bridezilla moment over....
