Im going into the city to webster hall for my bachlorette party....
SHOULD I WEAR MY E-RING???
It isnt insured (iknow i know) and I dont want anything to happen to it BUT I cant imagine NOT wearing it. I feel like being the bachlorette is like an advertisement that I have a diamond ring ready to steal!
I do have a silver band that I wear when I like go to the beach or something.. should I just wear that?

Hmmm.... I hate not wearing my e-ring, so I would probably wear it. You definitely want to get it insured ASAP, though. I am in the city all the time and am never worried someone will steal it from me.

My personal opinion, I NEVER leave home without my e-ring...I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about...Even though you are all decked out for your bachelorette party, I don't think you have the sign of 'steal my diamond'
in fact, I was just in NYC last night with Kiddo115 & both of us had our e-ring on...No one even looked twice

Here's another question for you.... how well does your ring fit? Is it loose to the point where you are afraid it will fall off? Or does it fit well enough so that you would never even worry about that?

I would NOT wear it. I went to my cousin' s bachelorette party at Duvet a month ago , and I left it home. When you drink you are not paying attention, why risk it? At the time,my ring was not insured either. It is now, and I still wouldn't wear it to go out to a club ! I am more worried about the stone getting knocked out of the setting, not the ring coming off

Just my personal thought and maybe it doesnt apply to you, but my FH would be kinda upset if I didnt wear my e-ring to my bachelorette party while I was out on the town. Just like I would be upset if he didnt wear his wedding ring for a night out on the town.

I work in one of the most dangerous parts of New York City and I wear mine every day. I figure if someone holds a gun to my head and wants my ring, I'll give it to them and gift wrap it. Then I call my insurance broker and report it. I can't live my life in fear that I am always going to lose it or it will get stolen.

Wear it..there are plenty of occassions where I am in the city and drunk and nobody has tried to steal my ring.
Just go get it insured..the whole process will take 30 minutes!

I will be doing the same for my BP on the 8th. It wasn't even a consideration for me not to wear my ring. It is insured though. But I would wear it anyway. It is a part of me now.
