I had registered on The Knot way before I was engaged and before I found out about LIW.
I just went roaming to the LI chat boards on there and no one posts anything.
What would I do if I haven't been told about this site! ?

Re: Thank god for LIW
I agree but don't. I love LIW, its helpful, its fun and I LOVE it. But its really adding to my stress level because it makes me procrastinate on homework. Badly!

I totally agree, I check in on theknot.com once in a while and I feel like I am always reading the same threads!

Originally I had planned to only use the knot, and I still do for only the wedding website, but it's very...middle America? I just couldn't relate to the ideas and stuff as much, I don't know. I like LIW much better now, but it totally puts an insane amount of pressure on me because I feel like I'm getting nothing done and everyone else has so much more done than me, even 2010 girls!

I agree about the knot being aimed at Middle America, especially the time line, which is a good guide, but doesn't work for the crazy wedding world of Long Island where everyone books vendors a year in advance. If you went by their time schedule you won't get a single vendor.

Absolutely...and it doesn't help that their timeline seems to be like genetically hardwired into FH's brain, hence why I have NOTHING FREAKING DONE
