I would personally go and be the better person- b/c I foresee this becomming a cycle of the way you treat eachother.. just nip it in the bud now for the sake of your relationship with her, future holidays, etc...
not going to her b-party won't really make you feel any better.

i can't believe that!!!!! that's not right of your friends!!!! as for your SIL i wouldn't do anything, i would do what she did for you, basically, show up on her wedding day! i can't believe they did that to you, i'm so sorry, i would be devestated if my friends did that to me

I agree. In situations like this it is hard to be the bigger person--I did not have a bachelorette party either, I am sure partly because my bridal party was pretty small and it puts more pressure on just a couple people to plan something, especially if you didn't have other friends in the bridal party. I wound up just hanging out with my best friend, my MOH. Was I a little hurt she didn't put more effort into planning a more conventional bachelorette party while my DH was out in A.C. partying with 25 guys? Sure, but if I was in her bridal party I would plan the whole thing in a heartbeat, because if she is still your friend, that is what you do for friends.

Why don't you come up with a legitimate excuse for that day. Say it's one of your friends b-days and you already have plans. Maybe that's shady, but so is what they did to you.
I agree with this. At least it won't look like you're just not going. It's completely rude what she did to you.
