Thank you everyone for your insights and thoughts. I will process everything related to this and do what is best for me. I am NEVER selfish but maybe this time I need to do something for me. It's time for me to say No to something.
Thanks again for everything.

Are you in her wedding? I wouldn't go either way. Just curious.

I wouldnt go it was foul what she did to you. She is inconsiderate and doesnt deserve anything from you. Learn how to say No to people like this. I feel so bad that your BM's didnt come through for you. Well look at it his way they were probably just gealous.

I did nothing with my friends, My parents wound up taking me out for dinner in the city while my husband was out having a true bachelor party.

I would go. I know that your feelings are hurt. Mine would be too, but she is now a part of your family and we all do things for the sake of our families. I just think that this is a battle that should not be fought.

Re: Stabbed from bachelorette party
Why don't you come up with a legitimate excuse for that day. Say it's one of your friends b-days and you already have plans. Maybe that's shady, but so is what they did to you.

Re: Stabbed from bachelorette party
I wouldn't go. Some of my BMs dropped out on my Bachelorette Party for even stupider reasons and I forgave them. I say come up with a weak excuse and don't go. She'll get the hint.

Re: Stabbed from bachelorette party
My first thought would be to not go...what does your brother think? Does he feel you should go? What does the family think....the last thing you want is to start a family war over this but if you have family backing i would say make plans for that night and stick to it

I would for sure not go. Being treated like that would really hurt me and I just dont think I would be able to bring myself to be so nice to someone who was so inconsiderate

Re: Stabbed from bachelorette party
I wouldn't go, and I would be completly honest with her why. Since you are family you should be able to speak you mind. I can't stand people that hurt others and only think of themselves. She doesn't deserve anything from you, family or not. She needs to apologize to you.
