thanks Jen... I'm trying to stay poistive... hoping that the doctors are mistaken (they are still running tests) but i KNOW my poor SIL is probably a mess. They live in VA so its tough... And I dont want to call b/c Im sure they are overwhelmed.

The best thing for you to do for them is to stay positive, so just keep doing it. I will be praying your family gets some answers really soon so your nephew can live a happy and healthy life!

not yet. at this point I need to know whether or not there is a treatment. so far I see: carefully controlled diet' or 'kidney transplant'

its frightening b/c I'm sure there is a probability of him having a mild case? I guess right now I need to know there IS a mild case...
