I know this topic has been discussed before -- but I'm really not sure what to do in this situation, so I'm giong to ask again.
We just got our thank yous from our photographer and are getting ready to buckle down and get them done. I think I decided to send 'thank you for sharing in our day' to ppl who didn't give gifts that attended the wedding.
Here's my dilemma... I have several bridal party members who have yet to give us even a card. I am very hurt by this -- not bc I'm gift hungry -- but bc I thought that since these people are close enough to me to be in our wedding that they would at least give us a card. Do I send a TY anyway? Part of me doesn't want to --- part of me thinks if I am going to do it for other people, I should do it for them too....
Opinions appreciated!

Re: thank you card question
Since they were a big part of your day, I'd send one. IMO it is kind of rude not to give even a card but, they were there and had a big part in your wedding!

I personally think it's VERY rude! I am shocked by it -- these are ppl who are all 30 and up -- they know better. I am angry and upset about it... I think that is why I am having a hard time deciding. I sort of feel like -- if they can't be bothered, why should I?
But - you are right - they played a big part that day and are important to me. I'll probably end up doing it.... Thx.

I would just thank them for sharing in your special day and leave it as generic as possible. It is rude to not give at least a card.

Re: thank you card question
I honestly wonder if they really even think about it - I mean, none of my BP sent back the RSVPs (and yes, I know they're coming, but 3 were invited 'with guest' and I don't know if they're bringing one...) Since they spent money on gowns or tuxes, alterations, shower, possibly a bachelorette party or travel etc, I personally will send a thank you whether they give me a card or not.
