Thank you card question

Since only the ladies were invited to my shower, I am addressing the thank yous to them only. If it was a couples shower, I would have addressed it to the lady and her hubby.

I only addressed cards to the ladies unless they included their husbands names on the gift.
Which a few did...if you kept your cards you can use that as your guide!
I could only do 15 at a time before my handwriting started to get sloppy & I started getting bored!!

I did the same thing.

this is tough. I addressed them all to the ladies only. HOWEVER, I heard through the grapevine that my uncle was very upset that it wsnt also addressed to him since he paid for the gift as well. Personally, I think its stupid, but I guess some guys get offended.

But in general, I believe it should be addressed to the female only because she's the one who attended.

I agree with Mrs. Q. The ladies are the invitees so the thank you notes should be addressed to them.
