any good ways to say thanks for the money and attending the wedding???? i need to write my cards and i dont know how to say it!!!!!!!!!!

I wrote something like 'thank you so much for your generous gift. We put in our 'house fund' and are hoping use it real soon'

Thank you for joining us as we began our lives together. We were deeply touched by your generous wedding gift.

Then you can add a little note about how to use it...or leave it at that....hope that helps. The quote, i thought, was a different and nice touch.

i think it is nice to say what you used the money for - even if you make it up! We told people it was so appreciated because it helped us get settled into our new home to start our life together. i think it makes it personal...

I stuck with something simple regarding the actual gift, 'thank you for your generous gift, it was so thoughtful of you', and then added (or tried to) add something personal like, 'we were so touched you travelled to be with us on our special day', or 'it meant so much that you were with us because you are so important to us and our families'...
