thank you cards
I got a check in a 'declines' rsvp (my ONLY 'no' so far! ugh!) - do I send a thank you card for that now? My thank you cards say our new last name - which clearly isn't valid yet!

Re: thank you cards
I sent a thank you right away, but I had generic thank you cards, so no names were already on it. I'll probably send a formal Thank You also with our picture in it.

Re: thank you cards
We aren't sending thank yous for wedding gifts until after the wedding. We are also not cashing any checks until after the wedding either.

Re: thank you cards
I sent a thank you right away, this way if I run out of picture thank yous after the wedding, I still covered my butt with a thank you right now.

Re: thank you cards
I would write it now. It is nice to acknowledge the gift right away, plus it is one less to write after the wedding.

Re: thank you cards
I would send it out now so that its one less you have to do later.

Re: thank you cards
If you get it 2-3 weeks before the wedding send it...you can always send another thank you with the picture later...

I posted the same question about a week ago.Someone told me if you get the gift more than a month before the wedding send the thank you now. If not you can wait. (you can always send the picture later.

Re: thank you cards
I agree with LaurenS. Send it out now, this way you have acknowledged it now and you don't have to worry about it later. I would use generic cards that don't have your married name on it. Plus, I wouldn't want to waste a picture Thank You (after the wedding) on someone who didn't come.

Agree- Don't use married name thankyou cards. But I would acknowledge the gift now and then send them a photo after the wedding since they cannot attend.Welcome New Vendors
