My baby shower was 3 weeks ago and I still haven't had the chance to send out thank you cards. I'm a full time student and between classes, getting ready for the baby's arrival and just being exhausted from everything I haven't had the chance to sit down and write the cards. Is it too late to send out thank you cards?

Re: Thank you cards
Definitely not too late. Better late than never, although I don't think they're too late, with everything else going on. Keep them as simple as possible, even if you write a few a night, you should be done in a few days. Good luck, it's not easy juggling everything, people know that!

Hi Maria!!
How are you feeling!? I can't believe how close we are!! 11 days for me!! EEEEEEEK!!
Anyway... I don't think it's too late at all. My shower was June 1st and while I sent the majority of my thank yous out about a week ago... (I wrote over 40!), I am sending the rest tomorrow - it was so hard to write my mom's, 5 sisters and 2 SILs since they threw the shower - I wanted to say something really special to each of them and my brain is totalling not functioning right these days!!
My work shower was June 12th - I'll get those thank yous out by the end of the week.
Be well!!

Kathi - I feel good but getting scared. I'm due on July 8th but everyone tells me I look like I won't make it to July. I haven't even packed my bags!
Thanks for everyone's support! I really need it this last few weeks!

Re: Thank you cards
I guess my take is that I am sure all of your guests were also very busy, but they made time to purchase a gift for you and attend your shower so you owe it to them to send a personal note of thanks- regardless of how busy you might be. I would suggest asking a friend or sister or mom to help you address the envelopes. that might help you save some time and energy. but send them out asap.
