Thank You Cards

Does anyone have a cheat sheet/saying for thank you cards? I am doing my thank you cards for my shower. Thanks!

for my shower thank yous I did:

'Dear ______,

Thank you so much for coming to my shower. I had such a wonderful time celebrating the upcoming wedding with you! Thank you for the _______. I can't wait to move in to our new house in a few weeks to use it (those two sentences will depend on what you get as the gift, haha). Thank you again so much for the gift and for sharing in my special day. I'm looking forward to the wedding and hope to celebrate with you there!

That is basically everything that I put in mine also. Just make sure to thank them for coming, thank them for their generosity, let them know it meant a lot to you to have them there and that you are excited to celebrate with them at the wedding.

i wrote something personal to each guest. i didn't use a template. i didn't want it to feel like everyone got the same note.

I used this as a general template but adjusted it depending on how much other things the person has helped with

yeah I did the same as you, I just put that above because those first two sentences, and the last sentence, were pretty consistent in each card.. I agree though- I had some very very long notes for the bridal party and family members who were very generous, and I made sure to personalize each note to specify the gift and what I plan to use it for
