I bought Thank You cards a while back because they had a good price and I was going to print small photos to go inside them. I've gotten cards like that before, is that a dumb idea? I feel like most family would want a photo. For some people I might include a couple if I have good ones with them in it. I'm just wondering if that's a waste and I shouldn't do it but I feel like people still like to receive one with the card.

You ccan include a picture with the thank you card. I don't think that's dumb, I think it is a nice touch.

Thanks! I have a photo printer so it won't be too difficult to do.

Personally I would be disappointed it I received a wedding thank you without a photo.
You can always print them at shutterfly at a reasonable cost (about ten cents each) and include it in your thank you.

I was just looking at that, they are so cheap! My cards are small but I can get at least a wallet size in there, I have to measure when I get home. I'm going to do this instead of printing them myself it's way easier.

We had thank you cards printed that matched our invites. I wanted my thank you cards out as soon as possible so I did not include pictures. Personally, I am not sure what to do with a picture of cousins or friends from their wedding when we received them... they usually wind up in a box or somewhere else haha. I plan to send out Christmas cards to our guests with wedding pictures on it.

i like the cards that are made like a normal card but the front is a picture. a friend did this. i saved it. used it for inspiration LOL (plus it's actually by our photographer so... it comes in handy to show people!)
otherwise, i never know what to do with the wallet size pics you tuck into the thank you card!!! (the 'stock' ones you get from photographer)

I recently got a thank you card from a wedding with just the couple's monogram on it. It was elegant and came within 6 weeks of the wedding (by far the fastest I've ever gotten one!)

Their plan was to use their wedding picture as Christmas card so that everyone gets the picture eventually.

Thank you cards never go to waste so if you want to do shutterfly pics, you can use those cards you bought for anything else. House warming gifts, mailman at Christmas... whatever
