THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

I just wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to you all. I cannot tell you how I am almost in tears reading all the posts I received after I opened up about my situation. It has been a struggle since the moment I came out, especially with my family. They have done an amazing turnaround and I am now planning the wedding of my dreams.

To answer many of your questions, I am the one in the pictures on the right and my fiance's name is Tricia. We are having both our ceremony and reception at Giorgio's and so far I have only booked the photographer/videographer (ADA). I have however, bought my wedding dress. This is the link to my dress

I am doing the traditional wedding dress. Tricia has decided to wear a black evening dress. She feels the pictures will be more beautiful as opposed to if we both wear white. As of right now, I think I want this dress for my bride's maids. I am in love with it. My bride's maids are going to try the dress on tomorrow.

We are also meeting with Flower Barn tomorrow and today I went to AC Moore and got materials to make centerpieces for our engagement party next weekend.

Girl! I tried that dress on at Davids Bridal and it looked sooo gorgeous on me...but I am going with a diff. style, pic in my album...but it is a BEAUTIFUL gown..which looks better in person!

i think the black and white will look awesome, but just so you have the option of both wearing white, i wanted to let you know that one of my best friends had a committment ceremony and both she and her wife wore white (she wore a dress and her a wife wore a white suit) and the pictures came out awesome. but either way you do it, it will come out great. and good for you for having the wedding of your dreams....just don't invite the Bush's!!!!!

I love the dress that you picked as your dress and your BM dresses-I had my girls try that dress on and it is GORGEOUS on!

I'm glad you found confort with us girls! Theres NO judgement here. Your dress is gorgeous, and I'm sure your partner is going to look beautiful as well. I have the same question as a few girls. Are you keeping your dresses a secret? Oh....I love the BM's dresses too! Way to go

The dresses are gorgeous! My friend wore your wedding dress to her wedding last year and she looked STUNNING! I was actually looking at that dress until I realized she had worn the same one to her wedding!
