Thank you scrolls

Thank you scrolls

Did anyone make thank you scrolls either in place of favors or along with favors at the reception?

If so where did you get the paper, and was it hard and time consuming to roll them up and tie together?

If you can post your scrolls (opened and/or closed) that would be great, but any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi.. I made my own for my e-party.. I used regular linen ivory paper from staples and in a landscape type so that it fit 2 to a page. I rolled them up adn used those gold and silver rings to keep it closed and then I burned the edges with a lighter..

THey came out really nice and weren't THAT time consuming..

Thanks Marcella...I like the burning part but I'd be too scared to do it...knowing me I'll end up burning the place down! LOL

But I'll try a few...we can't decide on a favor and I like the idea of donating..so I think we will do that and do the scrolls and indicate that we had done that.

I'll let you know how it goes! Oh, where did you get the rings to hold them in place?

You can get the bag of rings at any party place and as for burning them too much.. just let it burn a bit then blow it out.. that was the easy part.

One suggestion.. lay them out somewhere clean.. the ashes can get on the other ones sometimes.
