omg...this is annnoying! My hand-writing totally sucks and I don't have the patience to figure out how to use the computer w/ my thank-you's.
What did you ladies write in your thank-you cards? I feel like I'm going to end up writing a book.

i tried to write a thank you for what it was they gave us but at one point where it was being written as to who got what it got messed up so some got a general one

I did thank for gift - something about how we are looking forwardto using it, or already using it. It was good to see you. Then either you'll be missed at the wedding or looking forward to seeing you (& family/husband/whoever) at the wedding.

if the person wasn't at the shower and sent a gift i wrote 'We missed you at the shower' before the last line.
you only sign from you b/c you are the one writing it, not your FH and the gifts were for your shower as primary recipient.
