I just wrote things like thank you for your generous gift and for coming to celebrate with us! See you at the wedding! Things like that...

I wrote 'Thanks for coming out and celebrating with us. Thanks for the generous gift- we sincerely appreciate it.' Stuff like that. I finished mine last night- THANK GOD!

If you received an actual gift i would probably write more personalized abotu teh gift eg:

Thank you so much for the beautiful crystal flutes. etc etc.
