ok, i did my thank you cards a week after my engagement party - everything except addressing the envelopes b/c my mom had to get me addresses. now i've started my first year of teaching with and hour 1/2 commute on each end and attending grad school two nights a week. needless to say they've been sitting on my nightstand since august 25th and i feel like a schmuck. and i can't see WHEN i'm going to have time to do them either...
How do you commute? By train? If so how about doing them on the train. If not how about taking some time during your lunch to do a few a day.
I have a super hectic schedule too so I wrote my bridal shower thank you's out at lunch that Monday and then went to lunch on Tuesday to mail them at the post office. If I didn't do that I would have never gotten around to them. I had about 50 thank you's to write out too.
during lunch and my preps i'm usually running around and doing stuff for class - i try to get as much done at work as possible b/c i get home so late i just want to sleep. i could do it on the train, but it's usually packed ans standing room only. maybe i'll bring a few tomorrow and see how it goes...
