Thank yous when you forget what the gift was

What should I write?

I have a list of gifts I recieved but I think I screwed up a few so I dont want to write specifically what they sent me.

How then would you word it?

Thank you for your generous gift or is that only when they give $?

i would stick with the generous gift, and if it was for someone who was at the wedding just say how happy you were that they could share your special day
