Alright Jen, cough up that recipe for the banana cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it's super easy
One Pan Banana Cake
2 medium ripe bananas 1 cup flour 1/3 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 tsp. salt 1/3 cup oil 1 egg 1 tbs. orange juice 3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees Slice bananas into blender Add egg, oil, vanilla and orange juice Blend until smooth In 9 inch square pan (i think I use 8 inch) stir flour, sugar, baking soda and salt (and nuts if you want) with a fork. Add banana mixture and mix with fork Bake for 30-35 minutes
Note- I add a few chocolate chips to the top or sometimes mix it in the batter and I find that it doesnt take the full 30/35 mintues so just keep an eye on it. I have never made it with nuts mostly because I never have them in the house.

So glad that you were all able to make it!!!! I had a wonderful time and for the first time, I only took a few photos instead of my normal gazzilion!
I had a blast talking with you guys until midnight (and thank you for staying so late to keep me company!) Bob didn't get home until after 1pm with a drunk friend who wanted to pee on our lawn instead of coming inside.
Here are the few pictures I took!
We have got to do this again!!! Maybe we can allow the husband's to come since they complained so much that we got the great food and they had to fend for themselves!

Also, someone left a dish cloth - tan colored.
And someone left a large salad bowl with salad in it.

Taco Dip
1 pkg taco seasoning mix (medium) Salsa Shredded lettuce 2 tomatoes diced 1 bag shredded sharp chedder or mexican cheese 1 can sliced black olives 1 16 oz container of sour cream
Stir taco seasoning mix into sour cream. Layer in the bottom of a deep dish tin pie baker. Layer on salsa, lettuce and tomatoes. Top with shredded cheese and place sliced olives on top.

If you guys wanna slum it and come to Nassau county, I would be very happy to host something here. I would say to rule out Mother's Day weekend and Memorial Day weekend since I am sure we will all be running around like lunatics trying to please everyone's mother's and MILs and not be the evil DILs that we truly are Maybe June-ish? Talk amongst yourselves.

Well, I had no clue where I was either yesterday. Thankfully, with Betsy's great directions, I was able to go back to 'civilization' in Nassau..
