thanks sooooo much deli man - ugh!

so FH and I go this deli a lot and I'm really friendly w the owner Matt.

He's like the biggest gossip whoore ever.

Today we're paying and he's like so, when's the big day already?

Anthony was so upset after. We get in the car and he's like, Ames, we have to book this today.

TODAY? I just spent $2500 on a cesspool, $980 on a window that I haven't even recd yet and it's Mother's day on sun, not to mention his bro's, my best friend's (MOH) and his uncle's bdays next week.

aww, sorry amy! I promise it feels like SUCH a huge weight off your shoulders after you book though. I just did the rh and the photog and havent booked anything else in like 4 months.

I think it is a bit of pressure to do it today if you guys haven't decided on the place but if you know where you want it, I say just grab the bull but it's horns...

yeah we decided..or FH decided. He's dead set on Land's End and I'm ok w that but I have an unfinished kitchen, which would have been done if I didn't lay out 4K in the past 2 weeks!

sigh...just let me get through may and hopefully my house wont explode or collapse and I can book it.

fyi - the deli guy called me and apologized. I knew he would.

Now FH wants to just 'go by the place' later. Hello..do you have $1000 just sitting around baby? Bc I don't!'

sigh...yeah this has been so stressful. We were going to book and then I got cut to 4 days and lost 20% of my salary and with a mortgage to pay and all my dr stuff, it wasn't happening.

I don't know how I'm going to make it through tonight w him. ugh...can I come stay at someone's house? lol

I was engaged for over a year before I booked the wedding! It takes time, you have to go see places and weigh your options, tell your FH to calm down.

Yes it feels awesome when you set the date, but if you set it under pressure that exciting joyful feeling won't be there, and don't let anyone take that away from you!

But srsly, does he understand how much money you've laid out? Did you tel him, give me til x date to catch up again and we'll put down the deposit?

And they really want $1K? We put down $500. On FH's credit card. And paid it right away when he got the bill.

yep it's 1000. I'm ok w that ...once I have the xtra money sitting in my bank for a bit.

I'm proof positive that you can save $ and then BAM, you use it all up. We've been pulling from that savings for a year. I got my day back and it's been hell since.

and fyi - FH just called them and of course our date is still open.

June..I swear...I'll book it in June.

I swear i will! Trust me, FH is getting unbearable and since I control his $, he can't book it without me! lol

So far the humira shots are easy. I've given myself 3 and since I iced the area until it was numb, I didn't feel anything.

Hasn't really started working yet, but I read it could take a month or so. I'm hoping bc I wanna wear cute dresses and shorts this summer! :)

i'm sorry, this is one big

in one way, i want to say to book it so that its out of the way but if your strapped for cash i would say wait it out. i'm sure they are still going to have dates available for october of 2012. my co-worker just booked her hall for this october this month and they still had dates available.

I think its a great idea to see if they'll let you pay the deposit in installments! Esp since youre a 2012er I wish I would've thought of that! hahaha

and they'll prob have october dates open for a while... when I called LE like a month ago for May 2012 they had all weekends open for a PM wedding.. so I wouldn't worry just yet!
