What are some of the foods that HAVE to be at your family dinner on Thanksgiving??
For us its Sweet Potato Pie with Marshmallows on top!!!!!

i have somehow been passed the thanksgiving reigns -
i make a pretty kick azz stuffing but our one must have is mashed potatoes and some sort of soup. this year i'm doing roasted tomato basil soup. sooooo goood

I really hate ALL thanksgiving food....I eat a roll, some potatoes and green beans to shut my mom up and then dessert....

My dads garlic mashed potatoes and his potatoes augratin (sp?) lol.. that's where I gain about 5 lbs in an hour

OMG! thats my all time favorite too!! one year i was so hung over from night before taht i ate just a whole plate of it!! yummy!!

this mushroom stuffing type thing my mom makes
also lemon potatoes but then also some sauce on it
Along with traditional turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies and those things, my parents also make romanian food, and fh likes coming over for that

candied yams made with cinnamon, a hint of maple syrup, brown sugar and marshmallows
thats my absolute fav!
cream of corn turkey stuffing CARAMELIZED APPLES pumpkin pie cheesecake apple pie COQUITO!!!!!!!!!!
my mashed potatos absolutely MUST be fluffy and smooth mixed with milk and butter.
also my mom used to make string beans with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella on top ugh it was so good
FH's family makes all italian food for thanksgiving

No my absolute favorite is STUFFING!!!! Homemade with and without sausage!
I also love sweet potatoes!

Just want to share; I make my carrots with a glaze, that includes Splenda brown sugar. My Husband loves it!!!! You can also use a non fat or low fat margarine, like 'I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.' Mary MOB
