Thanksgiving Eve

dh calls it amateur night lol so he doesnt like it. He used to party pretty hard and even in his club scene days when he partied from saturday night until sunday at 3pm lol, he hated thanksgiving eve. I will admit it does become a bit amateur nightish lol. In the past we've gone to clubs in the city and it was eh. He makes fun of me whenever i always ask about thanksgiving eve, whatever lol

Tonight though dh's brother is coming home for thanksgiving, so we're gonna go to his parents house to see him and have dinner. I think after I am gonna suggest we go to this local bar that i love. Usually alot of ppl we know are there and we did this last year or was it 2 years ago lol and we had alot of fun.

theres still places in LI that are good. Oragin is not bad, its the old ICE nightclub. Then theres always crazy donkey a few blocks away. Bianco, mulcahy's, nutty irishman. Depends if you prefer clubs or bars. I used to go to LI alot more often than I do now. Its so funny but so many places have closed now or are closing soon, alot of big summer time spots too.

Mirage will probably be very packed, but depends if you like it. It can be a little eh

no youre definitely not. ALOT of people i know who even party every single weekend now, thanksgiving eve is the one night they dont go out. Thats bc they have this whole, well theyre too cool to do it mentality lol. So even the hard core party people will be home. Some of course still do go out bc they get bored at home.

yeah i know, i forgot the new name but i still call it mirage. DH went 2 weeks ago with his friends, i should ask him what the name is. I think he went the night they re-opened, which is funny since he always says he hates mirage but I went out for girls night and he couldnt stay home of course and thats where his friends were going.

oh god i know its so horrible. I was surprised dh went bc even years ago he used to never go but he really didnt want to stay home. I know that if i were to go there now, I would still see so many of the same people who go there all the time. Its funny in a way but its like ok find new places now lol. From what I know the people who used to do mirage and those who did posh got together and throw the party now.

you never i never really liked either. Posh was so tiny and i would get so annoyed in there bc you couldnt even walk around and when dancing you constantly had to move to let others through. Mirage was bigger so that was the good thing.

So does mine!!!
I have to bake tonight so I opened a bottle of wine and I'll be baking till the sun comes up because of course everything is different temps and for a really long time!
DH is playing video games and we are going to watch Tropic Thunder later.
Other than that...not a big night for us.
I think the last time I went out on Thanksgiving Eve was 2 years ago and we went to a bar in Babylon and then back to a friends house and played board games until 6am. I was really hurting the next day.
