Thanksgiving Weekend Brides

Where are you honeymooning?

Do you plan on leaving right after the wedding, or waiting a few weeks/months?

we are getting married on the friday after thanksgiving. we are staying at the fox hollow that friday night and the following saturday. we aren't going on our official HM until christmas. we are mainly waiting b/c FH is a teacher and does not have tenure yet. we don't want him to have to take off any unnecessary days.

I am not a Thanksgiving weekend bride but I am in the same boat as you. We are waiting to take our honeymoon until the spring because I am a teacher and can't go in October and we didn't want to go over Christmas.

I am getting married the sat after thanksgiving. We have not planned out HM yet but looking we are proabably going to wait till monday and go for the week. I cant wait! I think we are going to go to Cobo

I was married on last year's Friday after Thanksgiving

We went to Aruba the next day for a full week even though I was a 1st year teacher ...I didnt care! It was my HONEYMOON!!!

I am getting married sunday after thanksgiving and going christmas time so i can take 2 weeks for hawaii

this is my story EXACTLY!
FH wants to wait until Christmas, leave 12/23, and stay in Hawaii that whole week.

Christmas eve and Christmas are huge in our families (especially MINE) and I DON'T want to miss spending our first married christmas with our families.

We are ALSO getting married on the Fri after Thanksgiving, staying at the Inn @ Fox Hollow that night, and if I get my way, we'll be leaving for the HM that Sat or Sun. We can only go for 1 week anyway, so its not too bad.

I'm getting married the day after Thanksgiving, we are staying at East Wind that night and then flying down to FL, staying over sat there and then leaving for a cruise on Sunday.
