That friend of mine that lives in Hawaii...

...yeah, THAT friend...the one that lives in a tent, cooks on an outdoor stove and uh huh, sh!ts in a hole...isn't going to make it to the wedding.

She had applied to a grad program in Australia and was waiting to hear about it; she recently found out that she was accepted (yay!) but she won't be able to come to the wedding, as she needs to be in Australia that week (boo!)

I'm bumming, but I've known for about 6 months that it was a possibility, and I'm really thrilled that she was accepted into this program.

One day, our paths will cross again

awwww I'm sorry that she won't make it to the wedding but great news for her about the program! tell her that most places in australia have toilets... OR DO THEY???? muhahahaha.

we had an overflowing toilet there - it was so bad because it was so hot out and it reeked so bad and there were these huge roaches all over the place. but man, what a gorgeous country!

i digress.
