I know exactly what you are talking about!!! DH was doing a show a couple of years ago and I got to know the cast and crew. His quick change dresser was this seemingly very sweet girl that was just so nice to me. Fast forward a month and 1/2. I was unable to go to the closing night party where she apparently threw herself at DH (then just my boyfriend). DH thought that it was just because she was drunk and depressed (he can be pretty dense about the ways of a desperate woman) and put her in a cab home. The next day he has this long email from her apologizing, but also stating that (I will never forget or forgive these words) 'I guess you know that I am attracted to you and I think that you are attracted to me, but as long as you are with Heidi I don't think anything can happen.' After explaining to my DH that the subtext of that was..... 'If you break up with Heidi I will be your's'. I asked DH to please not have anymore contact with her and he agreed. The interesting thing is that I have started seeing her at auditions lately. I actually sat right next to her last Tuesday and I know she recognized me so I just kept talking to me friend making sure that all my gestures were made largely with my left hand. I so want to say something to her, but I am choosing to just let the sleeping biatch , I mean dog lie.
