How many of you, while dress shopping, had that 'oh my god' moment when you found 'the dress'??

I think I'm waiting for that moment and it's not happening... I'm frustrated and don't want this to go on forever!!! It's so hard and I have no idea what I want -- everything I THINK I will like, I hate!!! so I'm totally outside of the box and I just can't SEE it yet!!!!

How many times did you shop before you found 'it'??

I knew what I wanted before I shopped, but I did go to one store and never had that moment I liked the dresses but if I bought there I was 'settling' When I tried on the dress I originally wanted I had my 'yes' moment and so did my mom (she cried!)

I didn't have that moment where I cried and the clouds parted and there was a rainbow in the sky or whatnot. I did however feel like a million bucks in my dress. I felt beautiful and bridely and didn't wanna take it off! Still, I went one more time after I found it to be sure, but I compared every dress to the one and that's how I knew.

This was after upwards of 8 shopping trips probably trying on over 100 dresses!

I never had that moment... but i kept the dress on for like 25 mintues and i tried accessories on with it... i didnt do that with any other dress...

i picked it because of the reaction of everyone else there rather than my own reaction...

Yeah, that's what happened to me... I was between 2 dresses and the one I picked I looked thinner in, and it made my boobs go back up to where they're supposed to go, so I was like this is it, let's go.

I went in with a picture. When I saw it on the hanger my stomach dropped and it was the first dress I tried on. It was just 'ME' and yes I had the moment.

I tried on about 20 other's after to make sure it was 'the one' but it was I knew it. There were a few close seconds but I have zero regrets. I know I made the right choice

I never had the 'yes' moment. I had found two dresses I really liked and just went with the one I felt looked best, but never a 'yes' moment.

I never had the 'yes' moment. . . . . I was waiting for it - but nope never happened! I liked so many dresses but after I had my dress on I said I love this dress and I continued to shop at other stores and finally I went back to the store and tried on my dress and said 'I am DONE - THIS IS MY DRESS'

I dont think i had the YES moment. The gown I chose was the one i felt most beautiful in

There was a moment, but not really. I didn't cry or anything, but I tried it on and I thought 'There is absolutely nothing that is going to top this in my mind...its everything I never knew I always wanted in my dress'

I had a dress before that one...and I was like 'Well, its pretty'...but I'm a clothes wh0re and have said 'OMG I LOVE IT' to some $10 top so I wasn't gonna settle for 'well, its pretty' for my wedding dress.

I still don't get that feeling...I'm happy when I try on my dress, but its still not like 'OMG MY WEDDING DRESS' *swoonswoon*

I totally shredded the make of my dress and customized it... a top from one dress, bottom of another, more crystals on top, more princess ball gown.... so yeah.. I guess when all was said and done, I was satisfied LOL

I had the 'yes' moment. I went during a trunk show and the guy from the designer picked out my dresses. It was NOTHING like I pictured myself in but I LOVED IT! I tried on about 4 more dresses after I found my dress to be sure (it was the 3rd dress I tried on) but I just kept going back to that dress.

Don't worry! You'll find it! It's a big decision but make sure you LOVE the dress and no one has to talk you into it. Compliments yes but talking into no.
