had i known they were renovating we would have booked we looked at them and loved it except if it rained and we had to use the downstairs cocktail room, i was so sad b/c of it.. we even did a food tasting and I loved it, but that room was not very pretty before! Its soooo beautiful now!!!![]()

I wonder why they didn't tell anyone they were renovating. My sister went there early in the year and disliked it and loved the food too. She tried to talk us out of going there and being so much more open minded than she we went anyway and was like what on earth is she talking about?? LOL. needless to say we later found out they redid the place.
wow!!! that is a BIG improvement!!!!
Everytime we go it looks better and better....they even put a new patio in that was unplanned!

We went there while they were in the middle of their renovations. We had an appointment with the guy and he made us wait about a 30 minutes when the women at the front desk said he would be off the phone in a minute. We waited another 10 minutes when I told my mother and FH that I was done. I told the woman that we had another appointment and couldn't wait anymore. She asked if I wanted to make another appointment or if they should call me later. I just told her not to bother. I couldn't believe that they made us wait that long when we had an appointment and it was all because this guy was too busy on the phone. I wasn't too impressed with what I had seen anyway..... the foyer.

Iwenr to wedding there last month. It is beautiful. The food and service was great
Looks totally different down there now! In the process of re renovating!
Renovating again? I am going there within the next couple of weeks to make a payment. I'll have to try to take some pics.
Thatched Cottage was the first place I looked with FH back in December and it was gorgeous. Especially decorated for Xmas. All you holiday brides are lucky. Unfortunately, it was WAY out of our price range.
