I'm thinking of booking there. Went to the food tasting tonight and it was good. We didn't get to sample any of the meat entrees. Do you know anyone who has or has been to an event there?

No but I have seen mostly good reviews about them. I havent had a problem with them yet:)

my mom and dad got married there!!! It's absolutely gorgeous!! I think that would've been my next choice to have my reception but i wanted to keep everything closer to home i live in moriches.would've been cool to have my receptionwhere my parents got married

I'm booked there too, I have heard nothing but good things, the chef is the owner so the food must be good! and I heard its redone beautifully

My mom and dad got married there :) But that was back in the day when you could get EVERYTHING in a really cheap package - including your wedding dress :)

Im a thatched cottage bride!! It was the first place I looked and I fell in love. I havent tasted any of the meat dishes either, but my aunt went to a wedding there recently and said that the beef dish (prime rib I believe) she had was amazing! and she is a really picky eater. HTH

Since I've booked everyone I tell that I'm getting married at the Thatched Cottage RAVES about it. I've been to several affairs there in the past and the food and service is impeccable.
