Thatched Cottage Brides!

Where did you do your hotel block? I live in Nassau and am not too familiar with the area. What hotels are around there and did any of them have a free shuttle for guests or a free room for the bride & groom? Thanks ladies!

Ugh, I still really need to do this. I'm probably going to look over February break at work. The other TC bride that I know booked Huntington Hilton. My FILs want a place that accommodates dogs, so I'm like uhhhhh. lol

Sorry I can't help, we aren't doing a hotel block. We have like 4 guests from out of town that will be staying with family... So we didn't find it worth it to do.

Hi, I'm trying to decide this also. My friend's sister is using the hampton inn in commack. It's about 7 miles from TC. I might check out the Hilton because of the bar.. I wish it had better reviews on tripadvisor though.

I used the Huntington Hilton. There really arent many hotels that are near by and that are nice.

Oh, I just noticed the rest of your question. They did not offer a free shuttle and we were able to get a room for free for my DH and I.
