Wondering what you're doing for room blocking?? Do you know if there is a local hotel that provide shuttle buses or do I have to provide that? TIA

My cousin got married at Thatched cottage in July. She booked a block of rooms at the Marriott in Melville. She booked a Trolley to take guests back and forth.

There really aren't any hotels in that area, and she thought that was the closest one. It was a beautiful hotel. I didn't stay there that night (I live in Farmingdale so I just went home) but I have stayed there before and it's really nice.

Also the Huntington Hilton is just a little further down and is very nice.

You would probably have to arrange for a shuttle as I don't think many hotels would send their shuttles that far. (but I could be wrong)

Ok, so I took care of this yesterday lol. I looked at both the Hilton and Marriott, and ended up booking our block with Hilton. The Hilton was about $25 cheaper and a lot nicer with bigger rooms. The Hilton has a shuttle that holds about 10 people for $450 + gratuity. We are going to look for something through our limo company or look into a school bus for our guests. HTH
